Courses

Courses provide background and training for using play therapy or play based interventions in the school setting

This website seems advanced but I am a school counseling student. Would this site be right for me?

Absolutely, the Hub covers material and resources for various stages of professionals. In fact, now is the perfect time for you to join, not only do we have training, but you will  also be able to get support from within the community to help you through this stage of your play therapy journey. This is a great time to network with other professionals.

Will you be adding new content or is everything already loaded?

New content will be added regularly. We have information planned but also take suggestions from current members for upcoming training and resources.

Do I receive anything in the mail when I join?

No – we are entirely online. You can access our information from your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.  You will not get snail-mail sent to your school or home address.

Why should I join? Can't I just obtain play therapy interventions through Google and Pinterest? What Benefits does the Hub offer?

In today’s world of technology, it’s easy to share. Similar sites are great resources for interventions.  In our experience, members will also want to join the Hub for the courses, question & answer calls and supervision/consultation – basically to increase knowledge in Play Therapy.   However, once members are within the community, they enjoy being connected to a community of other school based professionals who have similar experiences, whether that’s participating in the forums or the monthly contests.  Members find it helpful to be around others who can provide a sounding board as well as having a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor to be available if they need support.

What happens if I decide to cancel my membership?

Obviously the Hub community would love for all of our members to stay, but understand that isn’t always realistic. So if you decide to cancel, obviously, we will be disappointed, but we won’t stop you.  If you decide to cancel your membership, members are able to do so with just a few clicks of the mouse.

Can I access the content released at the Hub during my membership once I cancel?

No.  Your membership entitles you to enter the members area and access the content there released prior and during the duration of your membership. If you cancel or do not renew your membership you will no longer be able to access the content within the hub.
